Thank you! I highly encourage a wine fridge. It helped with more space for leftovers in the regular fridge 🙂

Sorry I did not know sooner. I was trying to figure out where you lived since you post about Paris, but your address says Chicago. Now I understand. You are one lucky woman and congratulations for carving out such a great career. The phrase "do what you love and the money will follow" certainly applies to you.

Curious as to what neighborhood you live in in Chicago. I lived in Lincoln Park for 5 years and then in a Gold Coast high rise for 4 years. Such a great city.

I hope to spend a week in Paris in late March of next year. Moved from late October of this year. Fingers crossed that there is some sort of a resolution from this virus.

Love your blog and look forward to learning much in preparation for my trip!

I plan on them lasting a lifetime (or longer). And I’m in desperate need of some more kitchen organization canisters, I will check those out. The kitchen is my favorite place in the house and I’m starting to feel like I finally have a good collection of quality items.

I have experimented with a number of new recipes (some using the Dutch oven, some not) from butternut squash soup, to Coeur a la Creme. I don’t know if you have ever made a Coeur. I had the recipe kicking around for years, and finally decided to give it a try. One of the most sinfully delicious desserts I have ever made. Let me know, if you would like the recipe, and I will share.

Hi Lily!

I am so happy you love the Le Creuset dutch oven too! Have you made bread with it yet?? What have you enjoyed cooking the most? I am always looking for new recipes.

Thank you so much for reading xo

Years ago I had a Le Creuset Dutch oven, but it became damaged. I had not replaced it, due to expense. I took the plunge during their 20% off sale, and have to say I don’t know how I lived so long without one. I purchased the dark blue. My standing mixer and food processor are two items that have been used over and over. So glad I took an interest in cooking years ago, and have continued to expand my range. It has been so therapeutic—even if my clothes are a little snug. That can be corrected! And, thank you for all of your lovely posts, during this time of isolation. They have lifted my spirits!
