Just left Paris after 4 days for Bordeaux and now am in the Dordogne and the weather this past week has been crazy! Swinging from low to mid 40s in the morning to mid 70s+ in the daytime, and lots of rain from downpours to showers. Layer, layer, layer and don’t forget a raincoat with hood if you don’t want to deal with an umbrella. Or have both! Because indoor venues can be overheated I go with lighter weight layers, even with lower temps outdoors.
It’s all great no matter the weather!

This is so helpful Rebecca! Especially since we are leaving in 10 days for Lyon/River Cruise to Arles, and then 5 more days in Paris. I am totally rethinking my wardrobe… thinking I need to bring lighter weight items for Spring that I can just throw a sweater over as needed.

Great list and links! Is the Cuyana classic leather zipper tote linked the same as the one you have over your shoulder in the pictures? Is it comfortable to carry that way?

Which size away bag did you use? What personal item/bag is on top? It does not look like the ones on this post. It look like it has a sleeve to go over your suitcase handle.
