gift guide for him

I really had no intention on building a Gift Guide for Him. It happened organically as I sat in the kitchen asking my husband and a few other guys what they wanted for the holidays. They rattled off a list and I just kept taking notes. To be honest, I always overthink gift ideas for my husband and other guys in my life (dad, brother in law). The answer, they are way easier than we think! Included in this post are the items that were on that list. My husband had no idea that he was helping write a blog post.

My husband and I don’t really do gifts for the holidays. Our anniversary lines up with Christmas/Chanukah, and we are more about creating experiences and buying things for our home when we need them. We have joked about every home update; it is an anniversary present. Don’t feel pressure to buy something just because you feel the need and stress of the upcoming sales.

Gift Guide for Him 2025

Gift Guide for Him

1. Pelican Cooler. $70 My husband and I take a road trip every summer to the Boston area. He loves a good cooler and the one we currently have is way too big. Every time we prepare for our road trip, he goes looking for it. I ended up buying him this one that I think is much more sleek, compact, and practical. It also has a built in ice pack at the top, one of his main requirements. Again, simple makes the best gifts for men.

2. Flashlight. $40 Another practical thing. He did not ask for this but I think it makes a good stocking stuffer or little additional gift item. This flashlight is an essential to keep at home in an easy access drawer or to pack for a roadtrip. It is compact and works great!.

3. Away Suitcases. We are an Away family. They hold up well over time and roll smoothly through the airport. I have bought two for my dad over the years: a larger suitcase and a carry-on. It was important to me that he could move easily through the airport with his luggage and not put any additional strain on his body.

4. Bose Headphones. If AirPods aren’t your thing, these Bose headphones are the perfect gift. For the traveler, the dad who listens to the TV or phone too loudly (have we all been here?) and tries to keep a quiet house when a lot is going on with multiple devices. I saw these trending all over Paris. It’s trendy to have larger headphones now, and I’m looking forward to getting a pair.

5. Travel Speaker (Bose) When my husband and I travel, he pops his Bluetooth speaker on with a playlist. It is an instant way to change the mood or vibe in a hotel room.

6. Socks. Maybe the most requested item when I asked for holiday gift ideas. I told you they were easier than we thought! We love Bombas in our house and they give a pair when you buy a pair. A great initiative because everyone always needs socks.

7. Underwear goes hand in hand with socks from what I am told. Bombas is a favorite again here as well.

8. Khakis were also a big request. J.Crew makes a great pair. If it was up to my husband, he would wear his favorite Lululemon travel pants. There are occasions, Khakis or a good pair of jeans are needed.

9. Polo Shirts. A chime from the younger men. My nephew LOVES his polos and my dad does too. We typically buy them from Lacoste or Ralph Lauren. Always a hit.

10. Slippers. My grandpa and grandma always taught my sister and I to wear slippers in the house. If you see me on Instagram, you know I am always wearing mine from Ugg. My husband has two pairs and is always looking for one. Clearly, we love them.

11. Pajamas. LAKE is always a favorite and so soft.

12.Therabody Mini Massager I bought this last year as a gift and it quickly disappeared. We brought it on a family ski trip and it was a hit with everyone.

13. Personalized Golf Ball Set For the golf lover. It seems to be the hot activity right now. Score big points with this personalized gift for him.

14. Aesop Post Shave Lotion. This smells so good. It may be a gift for you too. I love the scent and compliment my husband every time he wears it. It is something I pick up for him when I see he is running low.

15. Backgammon Travel Set A family tradition and a game to play unplugged. You can monogram this gift too.

16. Vince Sneakers are elevated and work well with those khakis and polos I mentioned earlier.

17. On Sneakers For the active guy. These truly are so comfortable. I have the women’s version.

18. Leather Luggage Tag and Passport Case. Perfect for the traveler. They come in a variety of colors and can be personalized with a monogram.

19. Leather Poker Set. For the card shark. This beautiful box set has poker chips, cards, and can all be stored together.

20. Away Garment Bag. Maybe one of my favorite travel items of the year. Hang all your favorite items for easy unpacking and fewer wrinkles. There are a million pockets in here for shoes, toiletries, and anything else you might need for travel.

21. Commuter Backpack from Away. How my husband travels with his computer and other important essentials. It slides right onto his suitcase to roll easily through the airport.

22. Vuori sweatpants. For comfy days of travel or lounging. For the simple type of guy. I kept hearing sweatpants when I was making this list.

23. Half Zip Sweater. These are perfect for the colder months and pair well with khakis and those Vince sneakers. I think you are getting an idea of how my husband dresses. Brands he loves include Bilabaris in Paris and Octobre.

24. Ralph Lauren hats are back in style. Did they ever leave?

We could all use some self-care right now! The holidays are stressful, and this time of year feels like a lot with managing schedules, work, social events, activities, and personal stuff. I’ve compiled this self-care gift guide with some of my favorite journals, books, face masks, and more. Let me know if you have a favorite self-care routine or product in the comments below.

Self-Care Gift Guide

Self care gift ideas

1. The Five-Minute Journal: My mom loves this journal, and I also bought it for my niece so they could do it together. This is a great way to practice mindfulness in the morning and at night.

2. Oura Smart Ring: The price is $250, and it varies by model. I bought mine last year around the holidays and swapped out my Apple Watch for it. You need to make sure you get the right size and wear it on your index finger. I don’t think it is the most stylish, but neither is the Apple Watch (personal opinion). The app has great data, and they are constantly improving it! I could go on and on about this ring. It may be one of my favorite things of the year.

3. Thergun $150. These have come down in price. If you are active at the gym, I find this helpful after lifting or a yoga/pilates class. It was also a family favorite after our ski trip last year.

4. Rose Diptyque Candle: A scent you can keep anywhere year-round. We have a large one in our front room and burn it often.

5. Klorane Eye Patches: I often rave about these and gift them! Pop them in the freezer for an added punch. They’re great for after a late night or flying. I keep them in my travel bag for Paris.

Gift Ideas For Her

6. Dry Brush $28 I had a massage with a dry brush in Paris, and I loved it. It’s perfect for traveling and increases blood flow, and I can’t wait to add it to my routine at home.

self care gift guide

7. Palais des Thés green tea. This is their holiday edition in a blue tin that pairs well with the Degrenne teapot.

8. LAKE Pajamas Robe with scallop details $150 LAKE makes the softest pajamas. I have my sister hooked on them. This robe comes in a few different colors. It pairs well with any of their pajamas.

9. Glass Water Bottle $25 Glass is way better than plastic, and I have used these bottles for years. I bought my husband one to keep at his desk. They fit in any standard cup holder (key) and can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.

10. Manduka Yoga Mat. This is THE mat, in my opinion. I used to do yoga daily, and this was the mat I had invested in almost ten years ago. It wipes clean easily and has held up over time. It is heavy so it is not so easy to transport if you walk far in the city. I got a strap to throw it over my shoulders. It is great for pilates and weight training at home too.

Best Self-Care Gift Ideas

11. Hatch Alarm Clock $170 I bought it years ago, and I waited for the delivery truck like it was Christmas morning. This has an app that allows you to program how you want to wake up and fall asleep. There is a light that you can program to wake you up slowly in the morning. There is a kid’s version, too, and they constantly update them each year to improve them. I still use the same version from a few years ago.

12. Beats Noise Canceling Head Phones: $250 for listening to music and podcasts. I also like the Airpod version, which is slimmer and easier to use when traveling.

13. Varley Half Zip Sweatshirt. This is so comfortable and great for the gym or running weekend errands. I am looking for a second one to add to my rotation, and I love it so much.

14. Hair Rituel Hair Mask from Sisley. Their products smell so good, and I love using them! This mask is great when your hair needs a pick-me-up, especially between cuts and colors.

15. Degrenne Tea Pot $217 I use this tea pot daily in the colder months for morning tea. It holds loose leaf tea well and has held up over the years. It cleans easily in the dishwasher—a great self-care gift for the tea lover.

16. Slip Pillowcase: I recently added one to our bed per the recommendation of so many readers. It is great for keeping a blowout fresh and good for your skin. Quince makes a great look a like for a fraction of the price.

Gift Ideas for Her: Self-Care and Skincare

17. Slip Sleep Mask: I was recently gifted one in a PR package and use it at home. For traveling, I have this almost identical one from Quince.

18. Prep and Glow Caudalie Set $48 This includes three of their best sellers that will get you glowing. Caudalie is a well-known French skincare brand.

19. Calm Subscription. This is one of my favorite gifts to give to a friend or family member struggling. I love the sleep stories and fall asleep to them often. The Paris in the rain story? On repeat! There are so many great mindfulness routines for day or night.

20. Odacité body polish. I have this in my shower, and it works well for hydration and exfoliation. It’s great for the winter months.

21. Bath Caddy $168 If we had a bathtub, this would be on my list. A beautiful and functional piece for a bathroom with a bathtub for a self-care afternoon or evening.

P.S. Don’t miss the best gifts for the traveler.

christmas in Paris

The holiday countdown is on! Do you have your holiday decor up? As we prepare our trees and mantles this Christmas, it is time to think about stocking stuffers. I pulled this list from ideas and favorites I have loved this year. Gift cards always make a great stocking stuffer, too! Feel free to drop your favorite gift ideas in the comments and share them with the EDP community.

holiday stocking stuffer ideas

Channukah is extremely late this year and runs from the end of December to early January. This is the latest I remember in a long time or even ever. Use these stocking stuffer ideas also as Channukah gift ideas. We have eight gifts traditionally each year, and they don’t all have to be big. It is mostly for kids for the eight presents. Adults typically get one or two big items from the family.

Holiday Stocking Stuffers 2024

1. Merit Shade Slick $24 These come in various colors and easily fit into any bag or pocket. I like pink beet and maraschino.

Merit lip gloss stocking stuffer gift idea

2. Westman Atelier Highlight Stick $48 I love so many products from this clean beauty brand. This multitasking highlighter will make anyone glow.

3. Caudalie Pore Duo Gift Set $25 These are perfect for travelers. The mini sizes are great!

4. Manucurist is a vegan and plant-based nail polish from France. I use their green polish and bring my own when I go to the salon. Their active glow is great in between polishes. Any of their products make great stocking stuffers.

5. Klorane Eye Patches $26. These come in a pack of multiples and are so good after a long night. I keep them in the fridge and pop them on in the morning before a photo shoot.

6. Alppolline Blush Mug $40 Alyssa and I both have this pretty blue mug. It holds a good amount of tea or coffee, making it a great holiday addition or gift for the winter months.

7. Iris and Romeo Weekend Skin $50 I always have one as a backup in my closet. This product provides sun coverage with a healthy glow tint. It comes off with my Elemis cleanser at night. For those who don’t love wearing a lot of makeup but want a glow, this provides great daily coverage. If you are in the sun for longer exposure, you will want something stronger like Elta MD.

8. Red striped apron. At the time of publication, it was sold out. Try this one instead!

Stocking Stuffer Gift Ideas

9. ZIIP Halo $399 This is a splurge, but it makes a difference. For those into beauty, it makes a great gift. This is built around microcurrents. You need the gel which comes with it and there is an app that will give you a guided treatment for different focus points. Use this at night because it works while you sleep. Notice the results in the morning.

10. Mini Diptyque Candle Set $100 I buy these and break them up into individual candle sets. You can gift these individually with a few other items or just as a small gift so you don’t show up empty-handed.

11. Paris Assorted Notecards $35 A variety of Paris images on black notecards are ready to use whenever you need them. I have always looked for a card to write a personal message on, and these are the ones that I created.

12. Paris City Charm $32 Charms are a trending accessory this year. This charm comes with a few options. Paris is one of them, which you can attach to your keys or purse to show your love for your favorite city.

Stocking Stuffer Gift Ideas

13. Paul Beanie $65 These come in assorted colors and sell out quickly. A classic piece from Sézane.

14. Bronze Frame price varies on size. This adorable frame makes a great desk accessory. Frame your favorite pet, vacation memory, or a loved one. My friend Tammy framed one of the photos I sent during a trip to Paris for my birthday. It was such a cute surprise, and it would have stayed on my phone if she hadn’t printed it.

15. Quince Travel Set $70 This is in a few gift guides for a simple reason. I love these and think they make a great gift! Quince offers a few different colors. They look great on the counter, displayed with beauty products, or tucked into your suitcase.

Gifts for the traveler

This Gift Guide is for the traveler in your life. As a travel photographer and blogger, I often travel domestically and internationally. These are my recommendations for the best gifts and items I have found most helpful being on the road.

The Best Gifts for the Traveler

Gift Guide for the Traveler Everyday Parisian

Gift Guide for the Traveler 2024

1. Klorane Eye Patches $24 These are great for jet lag. The eye patches are wrapped individually. You can pop them in the fridge to use after a flight or on a flight under your sleep mask. They provide a cooling sensation and relieve puffy eyes.

2. Caudalie Lip Conditioner $14. I buy these in bulk at the Paris pharmacy, which is much cheaper. I have one in every bag and coat pocket. It is my go to for lips in the dry season and perfect for the plane.

3. Dry Shampoo from Klorane, $24. This is the non-aerosol kind, and you can fly with it. I keep it in my luggage and have one just for travel. It has saved me so many times freshening up a blowdry. I swear by it. You can also pick it up at a Paris pharmacy for around 10 euros.

4. Sleep Mask from Quince: $20 There is a more luxurious option from Slip, but they are almost identical. I love using this sleep mask on the plane and in my hotel. I may have trouble falling asleep if any light is peeking through a window. Using a sleep mask helps so much!

5. The Sisley Velvet Sleep Mask, $165, and the Sisley Black Rose Mask, $200, are both hydrating for flying and smell delicious.

Best Gift Ideas for The Traveler in Your Life

6. Travel Journal from Papier $38 Choose your color and personalize it: I love writing in a journal and find it fun to document a trip. While social media can be fun, such as sharing photos with friends and family. Nothing is like writing down favorite restaurants, cafés, and personal stories to be enjoyed later. Before I studied abroad, I was given the gift of a travel journal, and I used it every day I was in Italy.

7. Cuyana Travel Set Case $168 This is always my go-to gift for a friend who is getting married. You can monogram them with their new initials and add some beauty products. The two sizes make them great for travel for beauty and makeup. Quince makes an excellent look-alike for a fraction of the price.

8. Kindle Paperwhite $199 I bought mine last summer before Italy, and it was such a change of pace to have multiple books ready to read. No more stacks of books taking up extra space in your suitcase. The battery lasts so long, and the no-glare feature in the sun is really helpful and worth the upgrade.

9. Classic Easy Zipper Tote $298 My first Cuyana tote was back 8 years ago when the blog started, and it held up so well. They introduced a lighter version and I just recently upgraded mine as I pack a lot in when I travel. You can get pouches and inserts to stay organized on the go. I keep my laptop in here when I fly and my camera is always secure in here when I travel around Paris. You can monogram this, too!

The Best Gift Ideas for the Traveler

10. Nappa Luggage Tags $30 I find putting these on my luggage and personal carry-on is so helpful. Grabbing someone else’s bag is very easy when they all look alike. These are affordable and come in a set of two. AWAY also has luggage tags with coordinating colors to their luggage. They can monogram these for you at the store.

11. Apple Airpod Pro $190 I don’t know how I waited so long to buy these. Download your favorite movies, shows, or podcasts before flying, and you will be so happy with these noise-canceling airpods. I find the best deals to be at Target and Best Buy for prices.

12. The passport holder from Quince, $36, comes in multiple colors. It makes a great gift for someone taking a trip abroad in the coming year or looking to refresh what they currently own. I love mine and have had the same one since 2013.

13. Away suitcase The Bigger Carry On $295, my whole family is on board with AWAY. I bought my dad two; he raves about them whenever he travels. My husband and I collectively own multiple bags and only travel with them. He steals my smaller bag when he does short trips. I fly United and can fit this in the overhead compartment on international flights to Paris.

Gift Ideas for The Traveler

14. Hawley Half-Zipper Sweat $138 The brand gifted me this, and I instantly fell in love. I am wearing it now while I write this post. It is so soft and well-made. My husband agrees. I need a second one in a different color to rotate. Hint hint gift 😉

15. Cuyana Mini Zippered Pouch $88 I recently bought this in red and love it so much. You can use it as an insert in your tote to stay organized. I also pulled it out as a clutch bag accessory for my phone, keys, and wallet.

16. Lake Relax Set $130 There is nothing like getting into comfy clothes at the end of a long day. I own these in multiple colors and gifted them to my sister. She texts me regularly to tell me how much she loves her Lake pajamas and Boll and Branch sheets. Runs tts I wear a small.

17. Tech Case $75 This is a game changer for anyone who has multiple chargers (phone, camera, watch, and kindle) to name a few. I like to have backups of each and keep them in my travel bag. That way, I will never miss one on the road. This Cuyana case can be monogrammed, and they come in fun colors. I have a System tote and the pop of color makes it easy to find in the bag.

18. Bombas Compression Socks and Slippers $75 Compression socks might not be the most attractive gift, but they are very useful. Don’t sleep on using these for long flights. You may not want to buy them yourself. Ask for them as a gift. Extra pairs are good, as mine always go missing. Another hint. We need to place a good Bombas order for the holidays.

Gift Ideas for The Traveler

19. Away Packing Cubes $45. I don’t know what I did without packing cubes! They keep me so organized while I travel. Each size has a different category assigned to it when I am packing. Socks and underwear in one. T-shirts, layering pieces, and jeans in another. Workout clothes get their own cube, along with sweaters. It all depends on the season as you would add in swimsuits, shorts, and dresses for summer.

20. Slippers 2 pack $40. Depending on the class, you might be offered slippers in a hotel. My husband and I usually take an extra pair home in our suitcases from the hotel to use on our next trip or if we rent an Airbnb. I don’t love walking around on hotel carpets or rentals barefoot, and I love slippers. These are affordable and don’t take up a ton of space.

21. Cashmere Wrap $100 My aunt gifted me one over ten years ago, and I still have it. It is a very sentimental (hi Aunt C!) and a beautiful gift. This makes a great additional layer on the plane, especially for those colder months when the air is on during the flight. This upgraded one is from White and Warren and is currently on sale.

Pajama Guide

Photos of me by Rebecca Tyler Photography

I love matching pajamas so much. It has become one of my favorite things and traditions I have with my family. Every year for the holidays, I get my mom, sister, and the kids matching pajamas. We used to match all of us but it has gotten harder to find cute ones that look good for kids and adults. I typically send my mom and sister a pair and get the kids a different pair. As my niece and nephew get older, they pass down the smaller pair to the younger one.

In the above and below photos, I am wearing a pair of J.Crew pajamas

The Pajama Guide

Some of my favorite brands are below. These are brands I own in my pajama drawer. If you don’t own a pair of matching pajamas, I highly recommend a pair. You never know how much joy a pair of pajamas can bring!

The Ultimate Pajama Guide:

Eberjay was a reader recommendation last year and I snatched up a pair. I own the Giselle style in pink. They are so soft and hold up after many washes.

L.L. Bean Plaid Flannel Pajamas. SO cute and warm for the winter months.

Lake Pajamas are the one’s Bobby and Emma got for the holidays. I got these for myself. They are so super soft and I have worn them weekly since they arrived.

J.Crew Pajamas. These are in multiple colors.

Honeydew Shorty Pajamas totally affordable and come in a variety of colors.

Petite Plume Red Ticking Pajama Set perfect for Christmas

Cuyana Pima Robe. I feel like robes are underrated. I own one and use it when I am getting dressed. It helps me keep warm out of the shower and I can do my makeup and skincare routine in my robe.

Sézane pajama top and shorts if you want to go the French route. I love this green color.

Hanna Anderson has adorable kids and pet pajamas. Henri could match us too!

Anthropologie Heart Pajamas. Great for Valentine’s Day too.

Henry Pajamas for him I love the blue color

Madewell Luggage tags $26 An essential with traveling so your bag doesn’t get mixed up with someone else’s. This happened too many times in Italy and my bag was missing a tag. Lesson learned. I have this one with my initials on it.

Gaspard Sezane Jumper $120. This sweater can be worn in multiple ways and is a great piece to look elevated when traveling. Throw over a dress or wear it with jeans. I always have a sweater with me even in the warm months.

Cuyana Tech Carryall $195 This is chic and I just love the quality of Cuyana. Keep your laptop safe along with your charger while traveling with this beautiful leather laptop sleeve. Monogramming is available for an additional charge.

The Away Bigger Carry On $245 I invested in this in 2019 and I used it so much. They have a lifetime guarantee and I have had no issues with it. I have brought it for so many international trips and it fits in the cabin with me.

Sézane Card Holder $50 You can monogram this too. I have it in blue and use it daily for my cards because I rarely carry cash anymore.

Power bank external charger $40. This is the one thing I forgot to pack for Paris and could have used. There were a few times when I borrowed power chargers from the girls when we had downtime. It’s essential!

Cuyana Classic Top Zip tote $225 I have owned mine for almost 6 years and it has been around the world with me. I highly recommend the insert if you can afford it. It makes it easier to organize keys, water bottles, laptops, and other accessories.

Gift Ideas for the Traveler

Calpak Packing Cubes $62 Packing is so much easier with these packing cubes! I don’t know what life was like before them. I store them in my suitcase when I am not traveling to make them easy to find. Each pack holds a different category, shoes, undergarments, tops, and bottoms. It also helps maximize packing in a carry-on. They come in a variety of colors.

Pure Silk Sleepmask $50 I have slept with one for years. It helps on the plane and hotels when I need to fall asleep.

Apple Airpods $119 I don’t know life before these. I use them when I can’t fall asleep at home to listen to podcasts and on the go for phone calls and for plane rides. It connects to your phone’s Bluetooth. Just make sure they are charged.

Passport Holder This comes in two colors and holds your passport and a few credit cards. Easy to slip into your travel bag.

Orange Sim Card $50 20 GB for international travel. I have used this card several times. It really cuts down on the price of cell and data when abroad. Verizon is $10 a day and my data was drained by the evening. If you are going for more than 5 days, this is a great option. Just pop out your own sim card (keep it in a safe place) and put the new one in. I do this on the plan using the tray table.

Klorane Non-Aerosol Dry Shampoo $20 You can use the aerosol can as well but I like this one because you don’t have to worry about packing it in your suitcase. This has saved me so many times in freshening up my bangs in between washes. Perfect staple for the toiletry bag.

Camera Strap $7 I ordered this exact one for my Fuji. It is a fun way to personalize your camera.

Passport Holder $85 This one comes in a variety of colors. It is a fun and essential gift. A friend gave me a red leather passport holder before moving to Paris and I still have it. Another option with more colors.

Gift Ideas for the Traveler

Cashmere Wrap $195 This is a multipurpose piece that serves as a blanket and scarf. My aunt gave me one a few years ago and it is sentimental. It is beautiful and has traveled with me so many times over the years.

Apple World Traveler Adapter Kit I bought this years ago when I started traveling and I think the price was a lot higher. This is affordable and easy to pack in your travel bag to swap out adapters for Apple products.

Glass water bottle $30 I own multiples of these and they are great for traveling on the go. I pack one in my bag or in the car and use it to refill instead of taking plastic water bottles. They are easy to clean in the dishwasher.

Tech Organizer $30 I don’t know what I did before this little pack and I am so happy I own it now. I bought one as a gift for my fiancé too. I keep travel backups of all my cords and keep them here. When I am traveling, I just add this to my bag and I never forget a cord or adapter.

Klorane Eye Patches $26 Great for travel under your sleep mask before you land. This helps reduce the puffiness and dark circles under your eye caused by a lack of sleep.

Clear Membership My fiancé encouraged me to join earlier this year and it makes travel a breeze. I have TSA but this is an alternative to get through the lines faster. Plus, I always have the fear of not having my ID on me when I am traveling and this is a backup. It is super simple to join and saves lots of time at the airport.

Travel Jewelry Case $145 To keep all your jewelry safe and organized in one spot. You can monogram this too.

Sisley Sleep Mask $145 to keep your skin hydrated and plump while in the air. I always use a mask when flying because my skin runs dry as it is and flying makes it so much worse. Slather it on and let your skin soak it up as you sleep. The Sisley Eye Mask is also a great duo to pair with the sleep mask. I put this on under my eyes and it helps keep that delicate area hydrated for long flights.

Sidewalk low-top sneakers from Madewell. Highly recommend you catch them on sale. Currently 50% off. You need to break them in before long stretches but they are worth it. This is a reader favorite and so many of you rave about them too!

I love supporting small businesses whenever I can. As a small business owner for the last 10 years, I know how much work goes into making things run on a daily basis. It is never easy to run your own business and we wear a lot of hats working all parts of the business to make everything run smoothly. Late nights, early mornings, and long weekends are common. The last couple of years has been hard on so many especially small businesses.

When it comes to holiday shopping this year, I hope you will consider supporting the brands below or someone in your own neighborhood. If funds are low, consider dropping off a cup of coffee, gift card, or baked goods to your local favorites to let them know you are thinking of them this holiday season.

POSH Chicago

You know I love POSH so much and I always send people here when they need a gift. It is a magical little shop in the heart of downtown Chicago. There are days when I don’t need anything but I will pop in just for a mood boost and a look around. The shop is filled with antiques from Paris, books, teas from Mariage Frères, and kids items. You are bound to find a gift for any Francophile in your life. They have a site and they will ship to you if you can’t make it to them. They also have a variety of Christmas ornaments and decorative items to transform your home for the holidays.

Margaux Paperie

I had the opportunity to work on a special project with Maggie earlier this year. She couldn’t have been sweeter. Maggie is talented and professional and went above and beyond to make sure my project turned out perfectly.

Madame de la Maison

This is where I bought my blue dishes over a year ago which I use daily! Ajiri regularly shops the Brocants (French flea markets) in Paris to find items to add to her site. She ships to the US, I would just make sure to get your orders in ASAP for Christmas delivery. I love her champagne coupes, serving trays, and teacups. The site gets updated every time she finds new items. If you sign up for her newsletter you will be the first to discover new items. Some of the best items move really fast, so don’t wait too long if you find something you love I would grab it. You have my permission to gift yourself something from her collection this holiday season.

Bon Appétit Box

I have received a few of these boxes over the years and they are so fun! They are filled with products I know and love and some new to me to try and share with friends. They have a variety of boxes available for shipping to your favorite Francophile friends. The prices range from $40-$200 depending on the box. You can even gift a subscription box of two or four. This is also a great idea if you are going to a friend’s house who is hosting for the holidays as something to send before or after. The Noel box is adorable and I love the French Breakfast box.

Victoria’s Stories

My friend Victoria who I was in Paris with earlier this year runs a beautiful print shop. She is based in London and has the ability to travel to a lot of places in Europe. I get a lot of requests for London prints and I would highly recommend checking out her Etsy shop.

Rebecca Green Designs

When I asked for reader recommendations for small businesses this reader wrote in her own adorable shop. I love wrapping paper and gift cards for the holiday and if you are planning an upcoming wedding I am crushing on her invitations!

La Cuisine Paris

I have been doing classes here since 2013 and recommend a market class or cooking class on things to do in Paris. You can gift a class to a family member or friend going to Paris the next year I have really enjoyed the croissant class and macaron class. I always learn something new when attending a class at La Cuisine. You can do a class solo and meet new friends or do a class as a couple, or with a group of people.

Capri Michelangelo

Holly and Gianluca live in Capri and I met them a few years ago while dining solo in their restaurant. They make the most amazing olive oil they sent to me years ago and now they sell and ship it worldwide. I have gifted it to friends and family over the last year and a half to help support them while Capri was shut down. It is still one of my favorite items to gift as it tastes amazing and it supports my friends. I had the opportunity to visit them in Capri this Summer for the most amazing meal in their garden. Every dish was out of this world good and made with fresh ingredients picked from the garden I was sitting in the middle of.

When ordering their olive oil, you will get a few options from their varieties. I love the original, lemon, and basil the best. I have a supply in my cabinets so I never run out. You can discover their cooking classes here. They do virtual and in-person classes.

Friends of Shakespeare and Company

For the book lover in your life. This is a great way to support Shakespeare and Company from anywhere in the world. Memberships start at just 45 euros and it can be a gift to yourself or someone else. They also offer products for sale if you want to order something such as a tote bag or book from Paris. Make sure to ask for the classic stamp on the inside.

Friends of Shakespeare and Compan

Everyday Parisian Print Shop

I wanted to add myself in as well as some of you don’t know that I also run a Print Shop. This is the best way to support the blog and the valuable content I provide all year long. I do very little sponsored content and I don’t put ads on the blog as a way to keep it clean and the focus is on the content. The calendar is a great gift for a Francophile friend.

The Illustrated Life

I have been a customer of The Illustrated Life for a while. I purchased some notecards and wrapping paper and love the quality. Lydia is so creative and works so hard to provide an assortment of products to her shop. I don’t know how she does it! The Holiday Shop is fantastic with so many holiday wrapping papers for under the tree and gift ideas.

SomMailier

It’s a great gift for the wine lover and someone who wants to support small French wineries. You get a shipment of French wines delivered to your door. Each package comes with notes on the specific wine along with pairing ideas. The C’est La Vie option is $99 and includes an option of red, white, or mixed. This can be sent ahead to someone’s house before you arrive for the holidays or a surprise for the Francophile wine fan.

Studio Sensibilite

Shana reached out to me on Instagram a few weeks ago and I was so happy she did. I love the designs of her beautiful scarves and notecards. She is so talented and I think her items would make a great gift for anyone not just for the holidays but year-round. I am thinking of Mother’s Day too! The designs are so feminine and have beautiful colors on her silk scarves. I mentioned after Italy that silk scarves were going to be a big trend for the coming year. This would be a great opportunity to buy one from a small business owner based in France.

The Paris Market

The Paris Market is located in Savannah, Georgia. It has been on my radar for years as so many people have told me about it. It is a must-visit spot that will transport you to France. Shop vintage items, cookbooks, and French pantry items either in person or online. They have a market café to enjoy coffee and sweet French treats to take a break from shopping. You can order some of these items online as well such as their coffee beans and sweets. I would be happy with anything they offer as a gift this holiday. It is a great Francophile gift destination.

French Wink

A French Online Grocery Store. I love a trip to a French grocery when I am in Paris and bringing a few things home in my suitcase. French Wink provides you with the resources and all your French favorites delivered right to your door. They are able to source all those hard-to-find items that you miss from your time in France. They also provide adorable gifts from little ones to adults.
