You brought Sézane into my world and I enjoy it! Sizing is tricky so this is helpful. I own several sweaters, they are so romantic and practical, plus I always receive compliments on them. The pants I bought in Paris are more snug than I like, but not a deal breaker. My Scottrench is quite large, yet if I went smaller, my shoulders would feel boxed in. I may take it to my tailor. I’m loving those Fall skirts right now, especially the short Nellie(?) in several shades! I’m eyeing them now and hoping to stop by the pop up shop in San Jose tomorrow to try one for fitting. I hope they have at least one. I didn’t love my shopping experience in Paris unfortunately. I was treated rudely by my main stylist, but the other ladies were normally nice. And I always begin with courtesy and my attempt at French pleasantries for a non-French woman. But, again, not a deal breaker because I loved my clothes I brought home! I shop for style, quality, longevity. I don’t need a ton of pieces, but each one needs to play a purpose in my small closet and have something unique about it. Your styling, especially Fall, is captivating! I love coats , boots, and mixing colors with harmony but interest, Sézane helps capture those qualities. Okay, enough of my novel! Thank you for my enjoyment with your newsletters and calendars, I’ll pick up your book soon. All the best! Sasha

I was looking for skirt sizing and don’t see a description under that paragraph. What can you say about skirt sizes relative to their pant sizing?

I’m usually a size 5 with a narrow width. What size do you recommend I order from them? I know they run smaller in clothes but not sure about shoes. Merci!

Hi! Yes, absolutely. I size up to a M in their Marcelo top and their Conrad tee. The amount of times I have worn my Marcelo tank is so much I bought a second white one to have in my rotation. I love the look and fit.

Today I bought the camel trench in size 34/2US following the vendor’s advise on sizing. I was surprised because I am normally a 4 in the US (petite, 5’1, all my clothing is size Small, 115lbs) but the size 2 actually fits well and right except maybe in the back/shoulders, if I cross my arms it gets a little tight, does it happen to you too? I tried the 36/4 US but it was too baggy, didn’t seem right even though it felt comfier just because I had more room. I would love to hear your suggestion, thanks!!

I also run into this blog looking for a size chart :’)
This info was very helpful and I’m happy to share my experience as well.

I live in the Netherlands. I therefore must start with the fact that size-numbers are different within the countries. The same size in Spain, Italy, France and Portugal are often smaller, and the sizing in the northern countries are often bigger.
So my size (northern) is quite compatibel to a size 8 in USA.
For reference: I’m 178 tall and wear size 8 or 38-40.

When I for example order with Zara or Mango, I always size up.

So that was my start to search for a size chart of Sezane.

With 2 no orders I already have a good feeling about the sizing of Sezane; a bit bigger than I thought, but perfect!

– cardigan emile: true to size. I sized up for a bit oversized look
– cardigan Gaspard: same!
– pull Leontine: same!

Planning on ordering the Tomboy blouse and pants.

Your blog and Instagram posts gave me the courage to order before we got over to Paris last April. Your size descriptions (for me) were spot on and helped me zero in on a starting point for finding my size by comparing my proportions to yours. I’m shorter than you (5’3″), heavier (140lbs), a size bigger in jeans (sz6 or 28), busty for sure (34D), and older (50yrs). I did download the app and also get text alerts about new drops and especially any discount promos since they are rare. I always keep favorites saved in the app…and also noticed things sell out…so when I get a “back in stock” alert I hop on ordering. Keeping favorites saved in the app allows me to quickly make up the $200 for free shipping! In sweaters, I have found that a size small fits well. I have purchased several and inevitably sent back the mediums…for the mediums I have kept b/c smalls were sold out, I wish I had a small. Shirts, I am a size 40 which sounds really scary and huge. But I will say that Sézane really understands a woman’s body. These much loved pieces fit me beautifully in the shoulders and arm length and button to perfection around my chest (no pulling or tugging). I have learned through trying different styles which ones I love on me and which I don’t. Returns have been easy breezy. In belts, I am also a 90. I have several now and love them with jeans and dresses (can wear high on my waist for dresses and lower on my waist with jeans/dress pants/shorts). I just bought the silk Palma top and followed the sizing advice for that item and bought a 40. The fit couldn’t be more perfect, glad I didn’t size down like I do in the sweaters. The one dress I have is a button up, so I also bought a 40 to fit up top. Lastly, I love Sezane shoes! I have several pairs of sandals and a pair of clog sandals. I took my normal 37 (6.5 US). I hope this note helps anyone who is curvier to note how sizes do overlap but still fit different proportions beautifully. Happy shopping all! I love the craftsmanship on each and every item I have and the je ne sais quoi immensely brings me so much joy! Bisou xx

Brut sexy tall. Was in doubt for 1 week about which size. I wear a 32 and with brands live levi’s that suits me. With sezane i ordered 33 but it was way to small. The waist was 89cm. With levi’s 100cm. So i now ordered a 35
