Hello from Healdsburg! Yes, if you are thinking I have been on the road a lot, you are correct. Last week it was Paris. I had an incredible opportunity to do an author event with Paula McLain, and I couldn’t say no. Because of the schedule, it fell a few days after Paris. Ironically, my word for 2026 is rest. Something I knew I would have to really work on. This was 100% worth it!

On my way back from Paris, I spent some time sleeping on the 9-hour flight, and then I got to work. It had me thinking, why am I more creative when I fly? Instead of wasting time watching TV shows, I now want to make the most of my time in the air.
